Wow! Another beautiful day in Santa Barbara! There's no excuse to not get outside and have some fun and get some exercise. No gym membership required.
Here are 3 ideas on how to get in some extra exercise and burn a few extra calories today.....
#1. Ride your bike when you do your errands today. Leave yourself a little extra time, and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Ride to the bank, to the post office, or to your 2:00 meeting. Trust me, you'll be smiling all day.
#2. Take your dog on an extra long walk today. No skimpy 15 minute walk for Spot today. No way! It's much too gorgeous outside to be in such a hurry. Enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells as you walk around your neighborhood. The jasmine are starting to bloom and every block in town smells super sweet.
#3. In the privacy of your own backyard, or in the glory of your front yard, play like a little kid! Get out the hula hoop and the jump rope, and just play! Feeling brave? Get out some chalk, draw a hop scotch board on the sidewalk, and invite your next door neighbor over to play. It's ok, they probably already think you're a nut-cake!
