How To Make the Olympic Team, Without Training!!!

Imagine this conversation between an exceptionally talented athlete and her coach...

Athlete: My goal, and my life's dream, is to make the Olympic team.
Coach: You have the talent. I can help you get there. To get fast enough and strong enough, you will have to train 4 hours a day, 6 days a week, for the next 2 years.
Athlete: Well, I want to be an Olympic athlete, but I don't want to do all that work. I want to continue doing things the way I have been doing them, and still make the Olympic team.

This conversation is ridiculous, right? We all know that this athlete will not make the Olympic team without making the changes that her coach prescribes. Now, let's substitute two completely different characters into this conversation....You and Me!

You: I really want to lose weight. My goal is to fit into my favorite pair of jeans again.
Me: You can do it. I can help you get there. You will have to adopt a healthier way of eating, and begin exercising.
You: Well, I want to lose weight, but, I don't want to have to change my way eating, and I don't have time to exercise. But I really want to lose weight.

Got it now??!!! If you want to change your life, you have got to make changes!! Some of the changes will be easy and some will be hard. In order to change the result that you have gotten so far, you will have to change your actions!!

So, NO, you will not make the Olympic team without doing the training. And, NO, you will not magically get thinner, healthier, and more energetic by doing nothing!!!!

There is no magic pill for weight loss and good health. There is only you, and your decision to make positive lifestyle changes. So, do it on your own, or hire a coach, but make it happen!! You can do it!
