Slow And Steady Wins The Weight Loss Race

I work with a lot of clients that want to lose weight. And let's be honest, they all would like to lose weight fast! And I have to let them know, that Fast Doesn't Last....and that Slow And Steady Wins The Race!

We've all known people who have lost 30 pounds, only to put it back on within a year. Why is that? It's because they didn't really make long term lifestyle changes. Typically they will lose weight with the latest fad diet or packaged food diet or liquid diet. And when they go back to their old habits...the weight goes right back on!

The key to losing weight, and keeping it off, is to change your habits, your lifestyle. There is no other answer for long term success.

So, don't worry about how long it takes you to lose your unwanted pounds. Start eating healthy whole foods in reasonable portions, and get off the couch and exercise! The weight will come off slowly, but as long as you embrace your new habits, the weight will stay off and you will feel great!

One year later I'm still 25 pounds less.. I'm an example of losing weight correctly and keeping it off.. No fad diet. Portion control, eating fruits and vegetables, and exercise! I hope to be at this weight at 60 years of age.
