I made a quick trip to the produce market today to stock up on fruit and veggies. Should have taken a photo of the colorful bounty prior to putting it all away in the fridge and in the fruit basket, but once again, I forgot! Here's what I brought home with me:
• Strawberries
• Nectarines
• Red grapes
• Mango
• Avocado
• Tomatoes
• Cauliflower
• Persian Cucumbers
• Jicama
• Green pepper
• Yellow squash
• Romain lettuce
• Corn on the cob
Considering that I still have a bunch of purple cabbage, carrots, fennel, and broccoli in the fridge, I think that's a hefty amount of veggies and fruits for the week!
I hope you're shopping and eating equally as healthy, and that you'll think of me as I anti-oxidize all week!
