The simplest way to lose body fat, and eat all you want, is to eat lean protein and a ton of veggies and a bit of healthy fat. Note that I said eat ALL you want, not ANYTHING you want.
This was my lunch today = Squash, red pepper, & purple cabbage sauteed in olive oil. Wild caught canned salmon with a little mayonnaise. 1/2 avocado. If I was trying to lose weight, I could have eliminated the avocado, since I already have my healthy fat (olive oil) with the veggies. Also, note, that this food is on a 9.5" plate, which is smaller than the dinner plates that many people and restaurants use.

I've loaded up on lots of nutrients, and I'm full. I don't measure foods. I don't count calories. I just aim for a plate that is about 2/3 veggies, with a modest serving of lean protein on the side, and a little bit of healthy fat.
Eat like this 85% of the time, and I guarantee you will feel great!
