My Food...A Day In the Life of...

And here it comes....yet another post about how to eat right....

Short and sweet today....eat real food, lots of veggies, lean proteins, healthy fat....yadda yadda yadda. I've preached this theme a lot, and then I realized that, just maybe, a lot of you just don't really know what this looks like.

Yesterday, I photographed everything I ate and drank, with only two exceptions. I did not photograph my water intake. And, I did not photograph the 6-7 dried plums that I ate, only because I tend to eat them one at a time throughout the day.

Breakfast: Oatmeal with whey protein powder, cinnamon, banana, blueberries, ground flax seed. I usually also add walnuts, but I ran out of walnuts the day before.













Lunch: Chicken breast baked and coated with olive oil, salt, pepper, turmeric, cumin, cardomom. Half an avocado. Salad w/ romaine lettuce, purple cabbage, mushrooms, tomatos, orange peppers, with olive oil and vinegar dressing.













Dinner: Salad with romaine lettuce, purple cabbage, mushrooms, cubed chicken breast, with olive oil and vinegar dressing. Half a yam.










Beverage: 1-3 cups of green tea during the day












Snack: Popcorn with salt. Popped in olive oil.
